  5. Institutionalise governance — create a cross-functional AI review board that signs off on clinical safety, fairness audits, and monitoring plans.
  6. Plan for post-market surveillance — build telemetry that tracks model performance, adverse events and edge cases; feed that back into retraining cycles and risk assessments.
  7. Invest in skills and culture — train clinicians on AI literacy and establish incentives for adoption (time saved, improved outcomes).
