Unmatched Security? Why Every Business Needs Samsung’s New Knox Suite
January 17, 2025, Seoul, South Korea – Samsung Electronics has announced its new and enriched version of Knox Suite enabling businesses to pick from three motivated packages including Base, Essentials and Enterprise variants.
This is a shift from the traditional approach where only a single package was offered. The tiers introduced come up with solving the problem of security and device management for small and large enterprises and startups alike.
“As companies grow larger and operate in many types of industries, the need to rely upon device management multiplies and that’s where they want to thrive. Enforcing safe and efficient mobile workspaces is the end target for them all, no matter how big or small.”
. -Jerry Park, EVP, and Head of B2B Team, Samsung Electronics
With a couple of devices from Samsung Galaxy the Base Plan comes in providing basic tools required for devices to be secured and set up with ease. This includes Knox Mobile Enrollment (KME) and Knox Platform for Enterprise (KPE).
Expanded in the form of the Devices based Management via Knox Manage and the Remote Support for real time trouble shooting replaces the Base Plan with Essentials Plan. There is granular control of the OS version, intelligent insights based on data usage, and tools that will enable frontline optimization in the Enterprise Plan.
Knox Suite is said to get the edge of being integrated with existing EMM, thus getting rid of interoperability issues and leaving enterprises with the freedom to improve their Samsung Galaxy powered ecosystems whenever they see fit. Currently over 35,000 companies in 134 countries are using the product together with an additional 982 Mobile Solutions Providers.
Park added that “Through these new scalable solutions, Knox Suite is now optimized for all types of operational use cases, empowering enterprises in managing their enterprise ecosystems intelligently.”
In order to enhance availability and maintain relevance for the future, Samsung has placed a high priority on continuous partnerships with major EMM providers.
They have made devices more actionable while creating insightful tools that enable businesses to manage their devices fully while also creating secure and efficient mobile workspaces for many years.
