LG’s New AI Air Conditioner Can ‘See’ You and Control Your Comfort
SEOUL, 29th January 2025 – Big news for smart home technology! LG Electronics has launched the DUALCOOL™ AI Air, an air conditioner that cools or heats your room and learns your habits, tracks your location and even monitors your sleep.
Powered by AI Core-Tech, this next gen appliance adjusts airflow based on where you are in the room. Human Detecting Sensor makes sure cool or warm air goes exactly where you are, while ThinQ app lets it learn your behavior for maximum energy efficiency.
And more. The AI DUAL Inverter™ adjusts temperature, fan speed and airflow direction to maintain a steady indoor climate. When the set temperature is reached, it switches to Soft Air mode to prevent direct airflow for a gentler cooling or heating.
For those who have sleep discomfort, the Sleep Timer+ analyzes sleep patterns and adjusts temperature throughout the night for uninterrupted sleep. Meanwhile, AI kW Manager and Window Open Detection manages energy consumption by detecting when a room is empty or when there’s an unexpected temperature change.
The most futuristic (or creepy) feature is the All Cleaning mode which ensures fresh air through multi-step filtration process, Freeze Cleaning™ and Plasmaster™ Ionizer++ that eliminates 99.9% of bacteria.
