January 22, 2025, Sydney, Australia – TECH ICONIC, the leading fashion and lifestyle company in Australia, has changed the world with the implementation of Google Cloud’s generative AI technology, which utilizes VERTEX AI’s GEMINI models.

This initiative, which aims to enhance customer onboarding, malpractice and order utilization, is facilitated through advanced multimodal search features and is set to transform online shopping as we know it.

Some of these features include natural language shopping “beach themed party” and “snap-to-shop.” This advancement helps customers receive tailor-made suggestions rather than depend on monotonous key-word phrased searches.

Soon, users will have the ability to gain better shopping experiences through “snap-to-shop,” which allows them to upload pictures and search for matching items in an instant. Alongside ‘complete the look,’ other items will also serve as inspiration to plan an entire outfit.

“These advancements simplify and inspire shopping, enhancing customer satisfaction while driving growth,”

Advised Adam Cox, Chief Technology Officer for ICONIC.

This implementation of AI image tagging has significantly increased the operational efficiency of ICONIC by relieving them of the manual tagging that 200,000 assets required.

This new product makes it faster and easier to look for items while maintaining quality and accuracy – even for items such as “tops with bell sleeves” and “v-necks with a belt”

The firm works with data consultancy Intelia, one of the many Premier Google Cloud Data and Analytics partners, so it can ensure that they are ready and able to cope with their ever increasing inventory of 300 new products daily.

THE ICONIC’S Big Query data technology does more than improve the overall experience for his clients as it also allows for operational improvement and real time business analytics.

The platform combines different sets of behavioral and operational data so that employees can use the analytics for real-time decision making such as changing the content of the offers or giving recommendations that suit the client.

“Our work equips THE ICONIC with technology to redefine personalized online fashion,”

Paul Migliorini, Vice president, Google Cloud Australia & New Zealand, said.

Including this tool, THE ICONIC is transforming their identity as just an online retailer to digital fashion consultant, which makes them unique in a tight economic environment.

This shows that the future of AI in E-commerce will be big and THE ICONIC will be at the forefront of the incorporation of technology in customer-centric retailer innovation.
