Gleamer Acquires Pixyl and Caerus Medical to Expand AI Imaging Portfolio
Paris, France, 11th March 2025 – Medical imaging firm Gleamer continues its growth after acquiring AI companies Caerus Medical and Pixyl.
After securing these deals, Gleamer can possesses MRI capabilities, making it the only company to offer AI solutions for X-ray, mammography, SP, and now CT scanning. Caerus Medical has established itself in the field of lumbar spine MRI interpretation, while Pixyl is best known for having FDA and CE cleared neuro MRI tools including Pixyl.
Neuro, used in the earlier stages of neuroinflammatory and neurodegenerative disease detection such as Alzheimer’s disease.

These acquisitions give Gleamer over 100 employees spread in 7 countries and increases the company’s efforts in MRI R&D. The aim of integrating Pixyl and Caerus Medical in Gleamer’s AI Factory is to streamline the innovation process to ensure that next-generation radiology imaging solutions are developed and deployed as rapidly as possible.
