BCC Iccrea and Accenture Join Forces for €300M AI Banking Upgrade

NEW YORK, 24th January 2025 – The largest cooperative banking group in Italy, BCC Iccrea Group, has partnered with Accenture to help them transform their IT systems quicker. 

This new initiative is part o f the €300 million reinvention plan spearheaded by BCC Iccrea which aims to modernize the Group’s banking services while offering more efficient, secure, and better personalized customer experience with advanced technology.  

The broad transformation plan is centered around the redesign of the core banking applications, growth of digital services, and refinement of the security systems. 

It also includes the application of artificial intelligence, cloud computing, more effective data analytics, and advanced automation in order to achieve greater efficiency and productivity in the bank.

 Accenture’s investment in BCC Sistemi Informatici and BCC Iccrea Group further cements their partnership during this change.  

Mauro Pastore, General Manager of BCC Iccrea Group said,

The Group’s 114 member banks and their subsidiaries are set to greatly benefit from the integration of digital platforms, cloud infrastructure and data analytics, which is expected to enhance operational resilience and service delivery.
